Our Story - The Short Version

Our story starts with Juan Arturo Samaniego Nieto, a scientist in Central America in the country of Panama. It was by considering the mosquitoes as predators more deadly than the most savage beasts of the jungle that Juan Arturo Samaniego Nieto intended to solve the problem. Only by understanding the exact nature of the particular mosquitoes in question, their reproductive processes, feeding habits, flight range, and so forth, could he hope to destroy them. While researching the mosquito and its way of life, Mr. Nieto discovered that mosquitoes transmit a variety of different blood diseases throughout the world.

At this point Mr. Nieto made it his mission to provide a safe and economical means to control the spread of mosquitoes without using any harsh chemicals. That's when he founded Culex Products, Inc.

Juan Arturo Samaniego Nieto has worked closely with many scientists and he continued on a daily basis until he could find a safe way of creating a breeding ground that would trap and contain the offspring of adult mosquitoes. The name Culex is Latin for mosquito, so came the name, Culex Products, Inc. In Panama Mr. Nieto was concerned about using harsh chemicals to rid mosquitoes and also was very concerned about the residuals that the chemicals leave behind. This is why the My Mosquito Deleter concept of containing the offspring was designed. He knew if he could keep the Mosquito offspring contained that it would help control the spread of adult female mosquitoes.

After Mr. Nieto designed My Mosquito Deleter, he contracted an American company in the state of Florida to finalize all the research and development and to begin manufacturing his product. He wanted to have it made in the United States to maintain the quality and standards that he demanded for this product.
